Why the evolution of Biblio Tec? | With the educational model Tec21 as a base and starting point of a new vision, the new educational spaces of the Tecnológico de Monterrey are understood and assumed as cognitive process catalysts. That is why under this model the link with the environment has intensified, forging flexible concepts of laboratories, rooms, workshops and spaces that facilitate multidisciplinarity.
Biblio Tec represents the materialization of this evolution, one of the catalytic projects of the update of the Master Plan of the Monterrey Campus.
The first great work. | Biblio Tec is part of the multipremized Master Plan of the Monterrey Campus 2014, prepared by the international office Sasaki Associates | in collaboration with urban experts, architects and Mexican engineers to rethink spaces within the campus and their relationship with the urban environment. The design and construction of Biblio Tec respects the principles of the Master Plan: Transparency, Connectivity and Community.
Its construction would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation of the Tecnológico de Monterrey community and dozens of external teams.
